Ram 2500 Lift & Leveling Hub
Ram 2500 leveling hub: 2014–2018 and 2019+ coil-rear trucks, Power Wagon and rear-air exclusions, diesel spring rates, and verified kit fitment.
- 2014–2018 (4th gen HD — rear coil suspension arrives) · 2WD / 4WD
- 2019+ (5th gen HD) · 2WD / 4WD
The Ram 2500 has been the odd one out in the HD class since 2014: where its rivals run rear leaf springs, Ram fits a five-link coil-spring rear suspension, with optional rear air suspension — sourced from Ram’s own 2014 HD press material. Leveling is still front work, but the rear specification reaches forward and decides which front kits you may use. The generations here are 2014–2018 and 2019+.
We have not hands-on tested kits for this platform. Everything published here is tied to a cited source — manufacturer fitment pages, checked 2026-11-04 — and our method is explained in how we test and verify.
Check first: the splits that decide everything
- Power Wagon. The factory-lifted off-road trim is excluded by nearly every verified kit — Rough Country, ReadyLIFT and BDS all say so in their own copy. Power Wagon owners need hardware that names the trim; mainstream leveling kits are not it.
- Rear air suspension. ReadyLIFT’s diesel coil-spring kit states it plainly: air-suspension trucks are factory-leveled, and its kit would overlift them. Rough Country and BDS exclude rear air ride from their mainstream kits too; dedicated air-compatible systems are a separate product family.
- Snow Prep / Ambulance Package. ReadyLIFT excludes these trucks from its spacers — an exclusion most buyers would never think to check, quoted verbatim in our guide.
- Diesel-only systems. The coil-spring leveling systems (ReadyLIFT’s Falcon kit, Carli’s leveling system) are diesel-only; spring rates are the reason, in the manufacturers’ own words.
The verified ladder
Six kits: Rough Country’s configurable 2.5-inch (from $79.95, both generations, 35-inch stated max with trimming flagged on its own table), ReadyLIFT spacers per generation, its diesel coil-spring system, BDS’s 2-inch with FOX/NX2 options, and Carli’s 2.5-inch diesel leveling system ($1,331 via Carli dealers, with Carli’s own 35x12.5 fitment table). One honest gap is recorded in the guide: ReadyLIFT’s 2019+ spacer page publishes no Power Wagon or air exclusions in the copy we fetched, so the record tells you to confirm rather than treating silence as approval. The full list is in our Ram 2500 leveling kits guide.
Your workflow on this platform
- Check for the Power Wagon badge and the rear-air option first — either one reroutes the catalogue.
- Name your generation (2014–2018 or 2019+) and your engine; diesel-only systems are common here.
- Check the Snow Prep / Ambulance exclusion if your truck is a work spec.
- Convert your tire goal with the tire size calculator, sanity-check it against the tire size and lift height guide, and price the whole job with how much does it cost to lift a truck. New to the vocabulary? Start with leveling kit vs lift kit vs body lift.

Verified fitment
The table below is rendered from the same verified dataset as the fitment checker — it is never hand-typed, so a correction lands everywhere at once.
