Ford F-250 Super Duty Lift & Leveling Hub
Ford F-250 Super Duty leveling hub: 2017–2022 and 2023+ trucks, diesel-vs-gas spring rates, Tremor exclusions, and verified kit fitment.
This hub covers the F-250 Super Duty and, where kit manufacturers scope their systems to single-rear-wheel trucks, the F-350 Super Duty SRW — the ReadyLIFT 69-2740 SST is explicitly an SRW kit and BDS's leveling kit carries SRW fitment notes. Dually (dual-rear-wheel) fitment is stated per kit where the manufacturer addresses it, never assumed.

Heavy-duty leveling is a different discipline from half-ton work. The F-250’s front is a solid axle on coil springs, the trucks are heavy, and the catalogue tops out around 2.5 inches for a reason: that is roughly what the factory track-bar geometry tolerates before correction becomes mandatory. The generations here are 2017–2022 and 2023+, but the split that actually decides fitment is usually not the year — it is the engine and the trim.
We have not hands-on tested kits for this platform. Everything published here is tied to a cited source — manufacturer fitment pages, checked 2026-11-04 — and our method is explained in how we test and verify.
Check first: the splits that decide everything
- Diesel vs gas spring rates. Coil-spring kits are tuned for the diesel’s weight. BDS states it in its own words: its springs are designed for diesel, and a gas truck nets about half an inch more. ReadyLIFT and Carli sell outright diesel-only systems. A kit that does not name your engine has not answered the first question.
- Tremor. The factory off-road package already sits higher, and the verified kits treat it three different ways: Rough Country excludes it outright, ReadyLIFT’s spacer warns a Tremor will not net the full height, and its coil-spring system states a Tremor gains only about 1.125 inches. There is no “standard” Tremor answer — read your kit’s own note.
- The fine print that bites: ReadyLIFT’s 2.5-inch spacer requires the factory 3-inch rear block and may sit half an inch shy of true level; its SST is single-rear-wheel and one-piece-driveshaft only; trucks with Onboard Scales need a separate headlight bracket. All of it is in the manufacturers’ own copy, and all of it is quoted in our guide.
- Net height varies by year. BDS’s system nets only 1 inch on 2017–2019 trucks (an extra spacer is needed to level) and 2 inches on 2020+. The badge on the box is not the height on the truck.
The verified ladder
Five systems, from Rough Country’s $159.95 spacer (the only verified kit whose maker stops at 33-inch tires) through ReadyLIFT’s spacer, SST and diesel coil-spring/Falcon systems to BDS’s FOX/NX2 options — with stated max tires of 35 inches on everything except the budget spacer. The full list is in our F-250 Super Duty leveling kits guide.
Your workflow on this platform
- Name your engine (diesel or gas) and check for the Tremor badge before comparing heights.
- Treat 2.5 inches as the practical leveling ceiling, with track-bar correction part of the job.
- Read net-height notes for your exact year — 2017–2019 trucks behave differently in two of the verified systems.
- Convert your tire goal with the tire size calculator, sanity-check it against the tire size and lift height guide, and price the whole job with how much does it cost to lift a truck. New to the vocabulary? Start with leveling kit vs lift kit vs body lift.
