Best Leveling & Lift Kits for Ford F-250 Super Duty
F-250 Super Duty leveling kits are a diesel-vs-gas and Tremor question before a height question: three manufacturer-verified, Amazon-sold kits for 2017–2026 trucks.
Heavy-duty trucks level differently from half-tons, and the F-250 Super Duty is the clearest example. The front suspension is a solid axle on coil springs, located by a track bar — lift it and the axle shifts. The springs are rated for the engine sitting on them, which on this platform means a diesel that outweighs the gas V8 by hundreds of pounds. And the most popular off-road trim, the Tremor, leaves the factory already lifted at the front. So the Super Duty catalogue sorts itself by three questions — diesel or gas, Tremor or not, and do you want a spacer or springs — before height even comes up. Five kits were verified on manufacturer product pages on the date shown, spanning both current generations (2017–2022 and the all-new 2023+ truck); the three sold on Amazon are the picks in this guide, and the other two are covered on the hub — see “What we left out” in the buying guide below. The platform background lives on the F-250 Super Duty hub.
How we chose these kits
Verified-spec comparison, as everywhere on this site: manufacturer page, lift height, stated max tire, exclusions in the manufacturer’s words. Our method is in how we test and verify; we have not installed or hands-on tested any of these kits. One scope note: most of these systems are also sold for the F-350, and the hub record covers the F-350 single-rear-wheel where the manufacturers scope it that way — the per-kit exclusions below state exactly which trucks each kit fits.

- Rear lift: 0″
- Type: leveling
- Max tire stated: 33″
- SKU: 51017
Why we recommend it
Rough Country's 2-inch kit is the cheapest verified way to level a 2017–2026 Super Duty 4WD: cast steel coil seat spacers plus the track bar bracket the platform demands. It is also the most conservative kit here — Rough Country markets it for up to 33-inch tires where everyone else claims 35s, and its fitment notes carry two honest warnings: it does NOT fully level 2017 models, and it does NOT work on the Tremor package.
Best for: Budget-first 4WD owners levelling for stance on 33-inch tires
Pros
- ✓ Cheapest verified way to level a 2017–2026 Super Duty 4WD
- ✓ Track bar relocation bracket included — the axle-centering part this platform needs
- ✓ Cast steel coil seat spacers
Cons
- ✗ 33-inch tire ceiling — the only pick here that stops below 35
- ✗ Does NOT fully level 2017 models, per Rough Country itself
- ✗ Excludes the Tremor package outright

Why we recommend it
ReadyLIFT's 2.5-inch kit is the spacer done properly for this platform: steel coil spacers, an OEM-style cast iron track bar relocation bracket, sound isolators, shock extensions and sway bar spacers. ReadyLIFT states a 35-inch maximum tire (35x12.50, no rub, 9-inch wheel at +25 offset). Read the fine print before ordering, because it is genuinely informative: the kit is specified for trucks with the factory 3-inch rear block, the result is described as near-level (some trucks measure half an inch shy), Tremor editions will not net full height, 2023+ trucks with Onboard Scales need the separate headlight bracket, and the caster correction bushing does not work on 10-lug trucks.
Best for: Most 4WD Super Duty owners — the default level for work and daily use
Pros
- ✓ Complete spacer system: track bar bracket, shock extensions and sway bar spacers
- ✓ Stated 35-inch tire fitment (35x12.50, no rub, on a 9-inch wheel at +25 offset)
- ✓ Covers 2017–2026 4WD trucks, gas or diesel, on the factory springs
Cons
- ✗ Near-level, not exact — some trucks measure half an inch shy
- ✗ Stance math assumes the factory 3-inch rear block
- ✗ Tremor editions will not net full height; 4WD only

Why we recommend it
The premium answer for the most common Super Duty configuration: a 2020+ diesel 4WD. Instead of spacers, you get vehicle-specific front coil springs, Falcon 1.1 monotube shocks at all four corners, the track bar relocation bracket, brake line and bump stop brackets, and a stated fitment of 35-inch tires with up to 37s possible with minor trimming. It is also the kit that quantifies the Tremor question: Tremor versions gain 1.125 inches over stock. Two more honest notes from ReadyLIFT's page: dually trucks may not reach full front height (ReadyLIFT points dually owners at a different kit for the full 2.5), and the application in the product copy is 2020–2026 — earlier diesel trucks are not the target.
Best for: 2020+ diesel 4WD owners who want springs and shocks, not spacers
Pros
- ✓ Real coil springs and Falcon 1.1 shocks replace the factory parts
- ✓ 35-inch stated fitment, with up to 37s possible with minor trimming
- ✓ Track bar, brake line and bump stop brackets included
Cons
- ✗ Diesel only — no gas application is listed
- ✗ 2020+ only, and dually trucks may not reach full front height
- ✗ Tremor versions gain only 1.125 inches over stock
Buying Guide: The Three Splits That Decide This Platform
Diesel vs gas. A spacer does not care what engine you have, because it reuses your factory springs. A replacement spring cares a great deal. ReadyLIFT’s coil-spring system in this guide is diesel-only. BDS designs its springs for the diesel and tells gas owners to expect about half an inch more height from the same kit — which also means a gas truck on diesel springs sits slightly nose-high on a kit sold as a level. If you are buying springs, the engine split is the first filter, not a footnote.
The Tremor. Ford’s Tremor Off-Road Package includes a front-end lift and uniquely tuned suspension from the factory (Ford’s own launch material for the 2023 truck describes it that way). Kit makers respond in two ways: exclusion (Rough Country, and ReadyLIFT’s SST) or reduced expectations (ReadyLIFT’s spacer and diesel spring kits both fit, but state plainly that a Tremor nets less — 1.125 inches of gain in the diesel kit’s case). There is no verified “Tremor leveling kit” in this guide because the Tremor is, in effect, already leveled by Ford.
The track bar. Every spacer kit here includes a track bar relocation bracket, and that is not an upsell — on a solid-axle truck, raising the front moves the axle off centre, and the bracket is what puts it back. A Super Duty leveling kit without an axle-centering answer is incomplete in a way a half-ton strut spacer never is.
What we left out, and why
Two verified kits are not picks here, for the same reason: this guide only features products sold on Amazon, so we can show the real listing for everything we recommend. ReadyLIFT’s 69-2740 SST — the rake-keeping kit (2.5 inches front, 2 rear) built for tow and haul trucks — is verified manufacturer data and stays on the F-250 Super Duty hub, but we could not verify an Amazon listing for it. BDS’s 1–2-inch Pro-Ride spring kit (BDS1910, NX2 or FOX 2.0) is likewise verified and on the hub; BDS sells through its dealer network, and no Amazon listing exists for either shock configuration. Both kits’ exclusions still matter to the splits above — the SST is one of the Tremor exclusions, and BDS’s diesel-spring note is the clearest statement of the engine split — so they are named here rather than silently dropped.
🏆 Our Top Recommendation
ReadyLIFT 2.5-Inch Leveling Kit with Track Bar Relocation Bracket (66-2726)
If you want one recommendation: this is the default spacer for the platform — steel coil spacers, the OEM-style cast iron track bar bracket, shock extensions and sway bar spacers in one box, with a manufacturer-stated 35-inch tire fitment. For a 4WD Super Duty that works, tows and daily-drives, it is the level most owners should buy.

Final Thoughts
Price the whole job — kit, labour, alignment — with how much does it cost to lift a truck, and if you are still deciding whether a level is even the right tool, leveling kit vs lift kit vs body lift comes before any of this.

Frequently asked questions
Why do Super Duty leveling kits stop at about 2.5 inches?
Because that is where the verified kits in this guide all stop — the tallest front lift here is 2.5 inches, from ReadyLIFT's kits, with Rough Country's 2-inch kit below them. A Super Duty rides on a solid front axle located by a track bar, so lifting the front shifts the axle sideways; notice that every kit in this guide except the tallest spring system includes a track bar relocation bracket or an axle-centering solution. Past leveling height you are into full lift-kit territory — radius arm drops, steering correction and driveline work — which is a different product category, covered in leveling kit vs lift kit vs body lift.
Will a leveling kit fit my F-250 Tremor?
Mostly no, and the manufacturers say so themselves. Ford's Tremor Off-Road Package already includes a front-end lift from the factory. Rough Country's 51017 states it does NOT work on Tremor trucks, and ReadyLIFT's 69-2740 SST is not compatible with Tremor editions. The kits that do accept the Tremor accept it on reduced terms: ReadyLIFT's 66-2726 spacer kit notes Tremor editions will not net full height, and its diesel coil-spring kit (46-20253) states Tremor versions gain only 1.125 inches over stock ride height. If your truck is a Tremor, you are buying a small correction, not 2.5 inches.
Does it matter whether my Super Duty is gas or diesel?
Yes — the front springs carry the engine, and the manufacturers split their catalogues on it. ReadyLIFT's coil-spring kit (46-20253) is diesel only, with no gas application listed. BDS states its leveling kit is designed for diesel models and that gas models will achieve approximately half an inch more ride height from the same springs — the clearest possible statement that spring rate is engine-specific on this platform. The spacer kits (Rough Country 51017, ReadyLIFT 66-2726 and 69-2740) reuse your factory springs, which is why they do not split by engine.
What is the biggest tire the verified kits claim for a leveled F-250?
35 inches, with one honest exception. ReadyLIFT states a 35-inch maximum for the 66-2726 (35x12.50, no rub, on a 9-inch wheel with +25 offset) and for the 69-2740's fitment table, and BDS states clearance for up to 35-inch tires. Rough Country's budget 51017 kit is more conservative: it is marketed for up to 33-inch tires. ReadyLIFT's diesel coil-spring kit also allows up to 37-inch tires with minor trimming, and the 69-2740's headline copy mentions 37s with 35 described as ideal — we record the fitment-table figure (35) as the verified maximum and note the headline claim alongside it.
My 2023+ truck has Onboard Scales or a snow plow prep package. Anything to know?
Onboard Scales, yes — that one is documented. ReadyLIFT's fitment notes for both the 66-2726 and the 69-2740 state that 2023-2026 trucks equipped with the Onboard Scale option require the Auto-Leveling Headlight Bracket (part 67-23210). BDS adds that vehicles with radius arm mounted ride height sensors require its BDS123303 part, and that 2023+ models may need ADAS recalibration after the lift. On plow prep specifically: none of the manufacturer pages we verified for this guide publishes a snow-plow-prep exclusion for these kits, so we do not invent one — but a plow adds serious front axle weight, and the spring-rate question in the gas-versus-diesel section above applies to it directly.
