Guide
Best Lift Kits for Ford Bronco
The best lift kits for the 2021+ Ford Bronco, organised by the split that decides everything — Sasquatch or base suspension — with verified specs.
Every Bronco lift guide that starts with lift heights starts in the wrong place. Start with the question the manufacturers start with: is your Bronco Sasquatch-equipped or not? The two trucks take opposite kits — the base truck’s best-sellers exclude the Sasquatch outright, and the Sasquatch kits fit nothing else. Underneath that sits the HOSS damper ladder (1.0 through 4.0), which splits fitment again on Badlands and Wildtrak trucks. This guide is organised by that reality: base suspension first, then the one kit that crosses the line, then Sasquatch. The Bronco hub explains the platform; our method — manufacturer-page verification, no hands-on claims — is in how we test and verify.
The quick picks
| Kit | Your truck | Lift | Price basis | Buy it for | Hard exclusions |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Rough Country 40400 | Base suspension | 2″ | $79.95 at Rough Country | The budget 35-inch route | Sasquatch, First Edition, HOSS 3.0/4.0 |
| ReadyLIFT 69-21200 SST | Base suspension | 2″ / 2″ | $269.95 at ReadyLIFT | The engineered base-truck kit (see sourcing note) | Sasquatch, Badlands, Wildtrak, HOSS 3.0 |
| Rough Country 51027 | Base suspension | 3.5″ | From $649.95 at Rough Country | The tall base-truck build — in spacer form | Sasquatch, HOSS 3.0/4.0 (spacer version) |
| ReadyLIFT 66-21100 | Either | 1.25″ front | $169.95 at ReadyLIFT | The level that fits both sides of the divide | Front-only: no rear lift |
| Zone ZONF1221 | Badlands / Sasquatch | 2″ / 1″ | $159.99 at Zone | The Sasquatch truck’s value lift | Base suspension trucks |
| ReadyLIFT 69-21310 SST | Sasquatch only | 3″ | $1,049.95 at ReadyLIFT | The verified 37-inch route | Non-Sasquatch trucks; HOSS 3.0 |
One pattern to notice before the cards: unlike the truck guides on this site, most Bronco kits lift the rear as well as the front — compare both figures in the table, because a “2-inch” Bronco kit (2 front / 2 rear, or 2 front / 1 rear) is a lift, not a level. The Bronco’s problem is clearance and tire room, not the factory rake a truck level exists to remove. The one pure front level in the guide, ReadyLIFT’s 66-21100, is labelled as exactly that.
Base suspension trucks (HOSS 1.0, and non-Sasquatch Badlands)
The budget 35-inch route: Rough Country 2″ (40400)
At $79.95 this is the cheapest credible Bronco kit in our dataset, and its claims are properly modest: up to 35-inch tires with proper backspacing, and a fitment list that shows its working — 35x12.50R17 on a 17x9 at +18 with minor trimming, 315/70R17 on a 17x8.5 at +35 without a trimming note. Add the platform condition that no spacer listing headlines: per ICON, the factory crash bars on your non-Sasquatch truck must be removed to clear 35s (the hub covers the high-clearance replacement option). Budget the kit, the trimming and that decision together.
Who should NOT buy this: Sasquatch and First Edition owners, HOSS 3.0 and Raptor owners — all excluded on Rough Country’s page, in those words.
The engineered base kit: ReadyLIFT 2″ SST (69-21200)
ReadyLIFT’s base-truck SST at $269.95 states a recommended fitment (305/70R17 on a 17x8.5 at +18) and a maximum (35x12.50 on a 9-inch wheel at +18, with trimming) — the two-tier honesty we look for. One sourcing note, printed rather than buried: ReadyLIFT’s own detail page for this kit would not load when we checked, so the price is from ReadyLIFT’s shop listing and the specifications and exclusions are from dealer listings reproducing ReadyLIFT’s data — the same standard we applied to Bilstein’s application data on the F-150. The record is labelled accordingly.
Who should NOT buy this: Sasquatch, Badlands, Wildtrak and First Edition owners — ReadyLIFT’s note excludes the whole factory-lifted set, and HOSS 3.0 trucks with it.
The tall base build: Rough Country 3.5″ (51027, spacer version)
From $649.95, and the variant warning matters more than the price: this record is the spacer version, which keeps the base-truck exclusions (no Sasquatch, no HOSS 3.0/4.0). Rough Country’s M1R strut variant of the same kit name reverses the fitment — it fits Sasquatch and HOSS 3.0 trucks, where it yields only 1.5–2.5 inches of lift. Two kits, one name, opposite trucks: order by part number and configuration, never by the headline. In spacer form the claim is 35-inch clearance with no additional modifications (35x12.50R17 on a 17x9 at +0 in the fitment list).
Who should NOT buy this: anyone who cannot state which version they are buying, and every factory-lifted trim for the spacer version.
The kit that crosses the line: ReadyLIFT 1.25″ level (66-21100)
The only card in this guide documented to work with or without the Sasquatch Package: a 1.25-inch front level at $169.95, with fitments stated for both trucks — 285/70R17 on non-Sasquatch, the factory 315/70R17 size on Sasquatch. It is a stance tool, not a tire tool: if your goal is a diameter your truck does not already clear, the level is not the route, on either side of the divide.
Sasquatch and Badlands trucks
The value Sasquatch lift: Zone ZONF1221
Zone built this kit for exactly the trucks the base kits exclude — Badlands and Sasquatch-equipped Broncos, full stop — at $159.99 for 2 inches front / 1 inch rear and a stated 35-inch clearance (35x12.5 on a 17x9 with 5–5.5 inches of backspacing). On a truck that already wears 35s, the honest pitch is not tire size but stance and clearance margin. Zone is BDS’s sister brand, and its page is as exclusion-forward as we ask any manufacturer to be.
Who should NOT buy this: base-suspension owners. It will not fit your truck, and the fact that it is cheap makes the mistake more likely, not less.
The verified 37-inch route: ReadyLIFT 3″ SST (69-21310)
The only manufacturer-stated 37-inch claim in our Bronco dataset: ReadyLIFT’s Sasquatch-only SST ($1,049.95, HD ball joints) supports 37x12.50 on 17x8.5 wheels at +18 offset — and prints the caveat in the same breath: at full travel and lock-to-lock, the tires contact the front body mount and possibly the rear inner fender, and “these areas must be addressed.” We record that row as clears-with-trimming, because that is what the manufacturer’s own words describe. A 38x12.50 is listed as the maximum with trimming.
Who should NOT buy this: non-Sasquatch owners (it is designed exclusively for Sasquatch-equipped trucks), HOSS 3.0 owners (excluded), and anyone who reads “supports 37s” as “no further work required.”
What we checked but did not card
Zone’s dedicated HOSS 3.0 kit (ZONF120) exists — but Zone’s own page gives its lift three different ways (2.25 inches in the title, 2.5/1 in the spec block, 2.5/1.25 in the notes), so it waits for a page that agrees with itself. BDS’s 4-inch Bronco system and the Eibach and Bilstein 5100/6112 Bronco applications are real, but the figures we could read this pass came from dealer listings rather than manufacturer pages, with no manufacturer max-tire statement for the shock applications — they will be carded when the manufacturer data verifies, not before. ReadyLIFT’s 4-inch base-model SST (69-21410) rests on dealer data alone and gets the same treatment.

Frequently asked questions
Can I put a regular Bronco lift kit on a Sasquatch-equipped Bronco?
Usually no — and the kits say so themselves. Rough Country's 40400 and 51027 and ReadyLIFT's 69-21200 all exclude Sasquatch-equipped trucks (and First Editions, which carry the package as standard). Sasquatch trucks sit higher on different dampers, so they take their own kits: Zone's ZONF1221 and ReadyLIFT's 69-21310 in this guide are built exclusively for them.
What is the biggest tire a lifted non-Sasquatch Bronco can run?
On the verified claims in our dataset, a 35x12.50 — with conditions. Rough Country's 2-inch kit lists it with minor trimming on a 17x9 +18 wheel, and every non-Sasquatch 35-inch route also meets the crash-bar condition: ICON states the factory crash bars on non-Sasquatch trucks must be removed to clear 35s and larger. No manufacturer in our dataset claims a 37 for the base suspension.
Can a Sasquatch Bronco fit 37-inch tires with a lift?
ReadyLIFT states its 3-inch SST for Sasquatch trucks (69-21310) supports 37x12.50 on 17x8.5 wheels at +18 offset — with ReadyLIFT's own warning that the tires contact the front body mount and possibly the rear inner fender through travel and lock-to-lock steering, and that those areas must be addressed. 'Supports 37s' and 'clears 37s everywhere' are different claims; ReadyLIFT, to its credit, prints both halves.
Does the Bronco Raptor need a lift kit?
It is excluded from every kit in this guide. The Raptor runs HOSS 4.0 FOX Live Valve suspension and 37-inch tires from the factory, with 13.1 inches of ground clearance per Ford's specifications. Rough Country, Zone and ReadyLIFT's Bronco ranges all exclude it.
My Badlands has HOSS 3.0. Which kits fit?
Very few of the mainstream ones. Rough Country excludes HOSS 3.0 on both kits here, and ReadyLIFT's 69-21200 does too. Zone Offroad sells a dedicated HOSS 3.0 kit (ZONF120) — we checked it, but Zone's own page conflicts with itself on the kit's lift figures (title, spec block and notes give three different splits), so we have not carded it rather than pick a number. Verify the current page directly before ordering.
